McLean, VA. – Metropolitan Washington DC papers report that local CEO, Christian Hunt, of Care Rehab & Orthopaedic Products, assisted in the witness, chase, and capture of a serial bank robber. On September 2, 2006, Hunt visited a McLean bank when a man approached the counter with a pistol and proceeded to rob the teller at gunpoint. While the thief was distracted with the teller, Hunt briskly walked out the door to his car, contacted the 911 dispatcher, and waited for the bank robber to exit the bank. Shortly thereafter the thief ran out of the bank and entered his getaway van and proceeded to flee the scene. A chase ensued as Hunt pursued the robber in his own vehicle. During the pursuit the gunman brandished his handgun at Hunt and his vehicle; undeterred Hunt persisted and continued the chase until the police arrived. Finally, the police forced the bank robber to surrender and the suspect was taken into custody.
