Care ETS™ (EMG-Triggered Stimulation) is the "gold standard" in neuromuscular rehabilitation. It combines the benefits of both biofeedback (EMG) and muscle stimulation. The biofeedback component requires the patient to make a maximal effort in contracting the correct muscle. Once the patient exceeds their biofeedback target threshold, the muscle stimulation automatically kicks in to facilitate the contraction beyond the patient's current ability. This synergistic system of EMG-Triggered Stimulation is the most effective way to treat patients with any type of need for muscle re-education, whether the weakness is secondary to neurologic or orthopedic factors. Care ETS™ also offers modes for performing single or dual channel biofeedback and muscle stimulation.
